Adelaide is Kamalu's grandmother and she is in our ward. She invited us to his 1st Birthday Party. It was a luau. We went with the Wrights. We had yummy pupu's (appetizers) at 5:30 while the keiki's (kids) played games. After eating those and visiting we had dinner. It was a full blown luau food. Shrimp, chicken long noodles, fish, lau lau, poi, salads, rice, taro greens with squid, calamari, Kahlua pork and then there was entertainment, singing and guitar playing, dancing ( little girls and big girls doing the hula), and a slide show of Kamalu's 1st year.
